400 boys and girls participated in the XVIII Juan Fuster Zaragoza Swimming Trophy at the Lope de Vega International School
As every year during the month of July, the Juan Fuster Zaragoza Memorial Swimming Competition took place on Saturday the 15th at the Lope de Vega International School. This competition, celebrating its 18th edition, is organized by the school in collaboration with the Benidorm City Council and various sponsors who contribute to its success. Furthermore, as has become customary in recent years, students from the TAFAD physical activity program at the Lope de Vega International School joined in the festivities, actively participating in the competition.
The sporting event was a resounding success in terms of both participation and organization, with over 350 swimmers achieving excellent times. Children competing in the pre-Benjamin, Benjamin, Alevín, and Infantil categories (both boys and girls), along with parents, coaches, and spectators, enjoyed a fun and exciting day of swimming at the international school's pool. In addition to individual events, relay races were held, promoting values such as teamwork and perseverance.
The participating clubs were 13 from across the province of Alicante: CN Sax, CN Raspeig, CN Tenis Elche, CN San Vicente, CN Les Marines, CN Villena, CN La Nucia, CN Eldense, CN Petrer, CN Alfa Torrevieja, CN Elche, CN Petrer, CN Colegio El Valle
