The Carmen Pérez González 8-a-side Football Tournament consolidates its position in its 3rd edition

The Carmen Pérez González 8-a-side Football Tournament is consolidating its position in its third edition. It kicked off on Monday, June 26th at the facilities of the Lope de Vega International School with a total of 12 teams from across the Marina Baixa region.

For three consecutive days, different matches took place between the pre-Benjamin and Alevín categories.

First working day

On the first day of the Tournament, the following teams competed: first-year fryAfter a very close match, it was the CD Lope de Vega who achieved first place after beating Jonense in a penalty shootout.

Second day

The second day of competition took place on Tuesday the 27th. The following athletes competed: second year fryUD Altea emerged victorious after facing CF La Nucía.

Third day

On the third and final day, held on June 28th, the second-year pre-Benjamin teams competed. Atlético de Benidorm emerged victorious from this match, defeating CD Lope de Vega, who finished in second place. CF Benidorm took third place, and La Nucía finished fourth.

A future International 8-a-side Football Tournament
