This is how Halloween is celebrated at an international school! UNESCO SchoolAs a private school that welcomes more than 32 nationalities, we choose to celebrate some dates linked to the tradition of our municipality, Benidorm; and others considered part of the intangible heritage at an international level.
Si Last year Halloween was celebrated In the Early Years stage, and later in Primary school; this year the school went even further and involved, to varying degrees, Secondary, Baccalaureate, and Vocational Training levels. It was a terrifying but incredibly fun Halloween, celebrated as a community.
Special mention to TSEI (Higher Technician Cycle in Early Childhood Education) and the cycles of TGA (Administrative Management Technician) and TSAF (Senior Technician in Administration and Finance) who organized workshops and activities for Primary and Infant Education.
UNESCO School
Just like UNESCO SchoolThe school strives to keep alive cultural traditions considered part of intangible heritage. Therefore, and given Lope de Vega's strong international character, Halloween is included in the school's bilingual program (Spanish and English) as a fun and engaging activity.
In addition, the festival features a historical character It's worth noting that the origin of Halloween dates back to the 9th century when Pope Gregory IV established the holiday on November 1st. Over time, the celebration extended to the night before, known as "All Hallows' Eve" (the eve of All Saints' Day), and that name evolved into Halloween.

Vocational training cycles in Administration
This year, the Administration training cycles have also joined the celebration. TGA (Administrative Management Technician) and TSAF (Higher Technician in Administration and Finance)Students in these intermediate and advanced vocational training programs carried out activities for primary school students that reinforced their event organization and management skills. In addition, through their English classes, they prepared activities for... storytelling for the youngest children, working on, in addition to language, orality and public speaking.

Halloween Charm by TSEI
Thanks to the very positive collaboration that the Early Childhood Stage does with students in the cycle of TSEI (Advanced Technician in Early Childhood Education)The little ones enjoyed the most magical Halloween set in EncantoAs you can see in the following video, “The fantastic world of Encanto"was the star of the activities that the TSEI students developed over more than a month of work so that the kindergarten students would have a "scary good time"Furthermore, as is customary, the entire circuit was designed in English. Also, in the Early Years stage, different Halloween-related activities were scheduled throughout the week, such as cooking workshops, sensory activities, storytelling…

Activities in Preschool, Primary and Secondary Education
In addition to the incredible work done by Infantil and TSEI, there is also the work done by PrimaryClassroom and hallway decorations, themed lunches, group activities, costume making, songs, dances… everything always using English as the vehicular language.
The celebration had its finale with a paradeA red carpet was rolled out for preschool, primary, and some secondary students to share their Halloween costumes. The invaluable collaboration of the families made it possible to see some truly remarkable costumes, as you can see in the following photo gallery.

Healthy Food Project
The 3rd grade students took advantage of Halloween to finish their learning project “Healthy food and its benefits”, which they worked on interdisciplinarily in their English and Science.
They learned what healthy food is, what types of food are considered as such and why, its importance and benefits.
To conclude the project, they set up their own 'Master Chef' in the classroom and prepared "terrifying" recipes with fruits and vegetables.

Haunted Houses Exhibition
“Haunted houses exhibition” is the name of the project developed by students from 2nd to 6th grade of Primary School for Halloween.
Using recycled materials, the students built truly terrifying models and sets. The opening took place on October 31st, and the entire school enjoyed a spooky artistic experience.
