Benidorm held a ceremony in the Town Hall's plenary hall to recognize students from Benidorm who received an extraordinary award for high academic performance in Primary and Secondary Education during the 2010-2011 school year. On this occasion, the students recognized were from the first year of ESO (Compulsory Secondary Education). Sandra Zimmermann, Pedro Ramirez y Tobias Franco.
The mayor, Agustín Navarro, and the councilor for Education, Rubén Martínez, welcomed the award-winning students at 6:00 p.m. and presented them with a diploma and a gift in a ceremony that recognized their effort, the great dose of willpower, dedication, and desire to excel that resulted in achieving excellent academic performance.
