The Lope de Vega Theatre shares in the Day of the Hospitalized Child

The Lope de Vega Theatre, through its Solidarity Youth Club LDV, shared Hospitalized Children's Day with the children and teenagers of the Alicante General Hospital.

May 13th was National Hospitalized Children's Day. To mark the occasion, a group of LDV Solidarity Youth Club He traveled to the Alicante General Hospital the previous Friday, May 12. This is This is the second year that the school has gone to the hospital to carry out this session of coexistence in which activities, dances and hugs were shared with the hospitalized children and adolescents.

Donation of board games

This visit served a dual purpose. Firstly, to bring to the hospital classrooms all the board games that families from Lope de Vega School had been bringing to the school for this purpose in the preceding weeks. While last year they brought educational materials, books, and folding tables, this year the focus has been on providing learning and entertainment through play.

Sharing. Reading promotion and activities

On the other hand, the school organized a reading activity followed by a painting session. Both our students and the children who were hospitalized at the time participated. Afterwards, we went to Juanín Park to sing, dance, and give and receive lots of hugs and kisses. The Alicante General Hospital had a surprise in store: a giant puzzle that formed a big kiss!

Needs and rights of hospitalized children

Hospitalized Children's Day is an important day because it helps to raise awareness of these children and teenagers who spend a part of their lives in the hospital. It is crucial to educate society about the importance of upholding children's rights in all areas and at all times in their lives.
