The Catholic curriculum at our school began with a Mass in the Chapel, in which several students participated. Holy Mass is celebrated weekly, every Friday during the school year, and is officiated by our Chaplain, Father Javier.
On the other hand, on September 25th, an event took place in the Co-cathedral of San Nicolás in Alicante. The celebration of the “Missio Canonica” for the 2014-2015 school year. Some 900 teachers who teach the subject of Catholic Religion in the primary and secondary schools of the Diocese of Orihuela-Alicante, attended this important and heartfelt celebration which was presided over by the diocesan bishop, Monsignor Jesús Murgui Soriano.
The religion teachers from our school participated in this annual ceremony organized by the Diocesan Delegation of Education.. This marks the beginning of the course, since the receipt of this "Missio" expresses, through the delivery of a document, the sending of the religion teachers by the bishop for the teaching of the Catholic religion.
