The following players represented the home team: Conchita, Leire, Patri, Laura, Ana, Tamara, Andrea, Lourdes, Shere, Alejandra, Alba, and Rosa. Coach: Esther Carretero.

This is the first game of the Benidorm Basketball Club's junior girls' team under its new name for this season, Colegio Internacional Lope de Vega CB Benidorm. It is the result of a Collaboration Agreement signed between Centro de Estudios Lope de Vega, SAU, represented by its CEO, Mr. Vicente Fuster Pérez, and Club de Baloncesto Benidorm, represented by its president, Mr. Miguel Ángel Ortiz. The purpose of this Collaboration Agreement is to promote basketball at the grassroots level (from U8 to U18), as reflected in the sponsorship of the Junior Girls' team in the "Regional" league. Several of the team's players are students at Colegio Internacional Lope de Vega.

Lope de Vega is a multilingual boarding school founded in 1956 by Juan Fuster Zaragoza. It is defined by a clear pedagogical vocation that permeates all its activities. One of these activities is the promotion of grassroots sports, an activity that fosters fundamental human values in children: friendship, generosity, sacrifice, and tolerance.

This institution is making an effort to promote sports in general, currently offering sports such as: Sailing, Tennis, Padel, Karate, Swimming, Mountaineering, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Basketball, Spinning, Horse Riding and Golf.

And, as a finishing touch to this sports offer, it teaches a Higher Level Training Cycle of TAFAD (Higher Technician in Physical Activities and Sports Animation).

The Benidorm Basketball Club would like to express its gratitude to the Lope de Vega Center for Studies. In the words of the club's president, "It is essential that businesses in Benidorm and the surrounding area include in their business objectives the allocation of a portion of their revenue to social causes (sports, cultural, and charitable), viewing these contributions not as just another expense in their financial statements, but as added value to their brands, enhancing them both as companies and, of course, as individuals. Therefore, the Benidorm Basketball Club wishes to thank the management of Lope de Vega for signing this agreement, as well as all the sponsors who promote basketball in Benidorm."

Note: Club Baloncesto Benidorm will present all its teams next Wednesday, October 12th, at 12:00 PM at the Palau L'Illa in Benidorm. Following the presentation, Club Baloncesto Benidorm invites all its players and members to a paella lunch.
