Last Saturday, October 15th, the Lope de Vega Swimming Club participated in its first competition of the 2022/23 season in the 1st Children's League and Junior and Absolute control in San Vicente, Alicante.
The Lope de Vega Club fielded eight swimmers: five in the children's category, two in the junior category, and one in the senior youth category. Two of their swimmers achieved third place in the rankings. They are Nayara García, competing in the 200m backstroke (age 07) with a time of 2:54,60, and Paula González in the 100m breaststroke (senior youth category) with a time of 1:32,84.
We would also like to highlight Sarah Peret's 4th place in the 100m freestyle (2010 category) with a time of 1:16,06, and Laia Gilabert's swimming debut. Gonzalo Lesme, Iris Nevado, Aitana González, and Marina Gilabert also had an excellent start to the season, and we at Lope de Vega International School would like to congratulate them. Well done!
The next competition in which the Lope de Vega Swimming Club will participate will be the The 1st Benjamin and Alevín League will take place on October 30th in Elche.
