Last March we had debuts and first positions in the Lope de Vega Swimming Club; The Club’s youngsters made their debut in two new events and took two first positions in the 4th Alevín League held in San Vicente del Raspeig on 11 March.
First positions
Andrea Cervera Cantó won the first two positions; In the 200m backstroke achieved the autonomic minimum obtaining the first position with a time of 3:06.33. And in the
400m freestyle obtained a time of 5:53.33, being thus, again, in first position and achieving, in addition, the autonomic minimum.
Debuts in 400m freestyle and 200m backstroke;
In this competition, our swimmers also made their debut in two new events: 400m freestyle and 200m backstroke. They had previously competed in 50m, 100m and 200m butterfly, 50m breaststroke, 50m and 100m freestyle and 100m backstroke.
Syra Blanco Climent obtained a time of 3:33.15 in the 200m backstroke for fifth place; And in the 400m freestyle she clocked 6:53.78 to finish in eighth place;
Meanwhile, Alejandra Van Breda Fernandez, placed fifth in the 400m freestyle with a time of 6:41.98.

Last February our junior swimmers competed in the Provincial Phase; These were the results obtained:
ANDREA CERVERA CANTÓ in the 2012 category:
- 50 butterfly: he obtained the first position with a time of 37.29 seconds;
- 200 butterfly: he obtained the first position with a time of 3:09.63 minutes;
- 100 butterfly: she obtained the second position with a time of 1:25.74minutes;
- 100 free: she obtained the second position with a time of 1:14.44 minutes.
SYRA BLANCO CLIMENT in the 2012 category:
- 50 breaststroke: she took third place with a time of 54.27 seconds.
- 100 freestyle: ninth place with a time of 1:29.65 minutes.
- 100 backstroke: she obtained the eighth position with a time of 1:38.72 minutes.
- 50 freestyle: he obtained the eighth position with a time of 41.53 seconds
ALEJANDRA VAN BREDA FERNÁNDEZ in the 2012 category:
- 100 backstroke: she obtained the twelfth position with a time of 1:42.78 minutes;
- 50 freestyle: he obtained the seventh position with a time of 39.48 seconds.
