Today we celebrated the International Day of Peace and Non-Violence. This year, the day focused on social inclusion within a common framework such as the European Union.
Therefore, teachers from the three European countries with which the school is carrying out the Erasmus+ program participated. The program's motto is precisely about integration: “Youth Empowering Skills: Targeting Social Inclusion.” Teachers and students from the four countries (Spain, Sweden, Czech Republic, and Italy) read a pledge in eight languages to celebrate the cultural and linguistic richness of the continent. Afterwards, the students participating in the first-year Baccalaureate project performed the song they composed in English as one of the final products of their work.
The kindergarten and primary school students read poems and sang songs, and the grand finale was provided by student Claudia Llinaries with the song Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, accompanied by the guitars of teachers Jose Luis Tomás and Juan Luis Morales.
Happy Peace Day!
