Stage Children

____________

Early childhood is essential for a child's intellectual, physical, and emotional development. Therefore, in the Lope de Vega International School We offer comprehensive training, respecting the individual learning pace and ensuring personalized attention adapted to the needs of each student.

Learning environments are open proposals, enriched by a wealth of varied materials.

Provocative and attractive resources that fulfill the objective of enhancing manipulation and experimentation.

These proposals foster students' autonomy, enabling them to make decisions, think, argue, and reflect in order to adopt a critical view of the world around them and understand it better.

methodology

___________________

We work to develop the student's critical and creative thinking, with the early stimulation program, our own project and materials, Graphomotor skills, Literacy, Mathematics and Music.

All of this is complemented by the use of ICT, values education and the promotion of experiential and interactive activities.

languages

___________________

This stage marks the starting point of the bilingual education project, with 75% of classes taught in English. The language is learned naturally using the literacy methodology employed in the United Kingdom (“Phonics”, “Read&Write Inc.”).

educational project

___________________

Our Early Childhood Education Project – English and Spanish – is based on the development of five active principles that make learning possible.
These principles are based on the brain's executive functions, which are "complex mental activities necessary to plan, organize, guide, review, regulate, and evaluate the behavior needed to adapt effectively to the environment and to achieve goals" (Bauermeister, 2008).

future in progress program

___________________

Through the FIP (Future in Progress Programme), we work on developing fundamental principles. This ensures that these principles are activated and practiced at an early age, as they form the foundation upon which we build our character and lifelong skills.

Active principles FIP Programme

___________________

Systematic and harmonious development of the five active principles on which our methodology is based, focused on personality formation and the discovery of skills, from early ages.

The “Thinking Based Learning” (TBL) program guarantees the acquisition of superior critical and creative thinking skills, creating indispensable structures for any facet of life.

flowing disposition

We support our students so they become fully engaged in their tasks, enjoy them, and develop a genuine interest in them. We encourage them to set increasingly higher goals and minimize distractions, which is essential for solidifying their perception of their challenges, abilities, objectives, and autonomy.

challenging mind

Living in a multicultural environment like our school creates the necessary foundation for developing habits of mind: resilience, gathering information with all the senses, creating, imagining and innovating, practicing active and empathetic listening, communicating precisely, and remaining open to continuous learning. The important decisions they will make in their lives will depend largely on the skill they acquire in developing these habits.

my ethos

Recognition and construction of one's own identity. This must be based on solid foundations that support emotional and behavioral regulation. This will enable them to relate and work effectively with others in a cooperative and reciprocal manner.
