Students at Lope de Vega school formed a large pink ribbon in support of the fight against breast cancer. Last October 19th, International Breast Cancer Awareness Day, the entire school mobilized for this cause by participating in various activities.

It's been many years that Anemone Marina Baixa She has been collaborating with the Lope de Vega International School, among other schools in the region, to raise awareness about this disease that affects one in twelve women.
Among the activities carried out, the association distributed scarves that the students could customize with messages, in addition to wearing them when making the large pink ribbon on the school's courts.
The now classic sale of charity t-shirts also took place, and the Lope de Vega educational community was encouraged to participate in the charity race held on Sunday, October 22nd; in which more than 6.000 participants filled the streets of Benidorm with pink.
Awareness activities
Throughout the week, students at the school participated in classroom activities and carried out various awareness-raising exercises. These ranged from reflections and discussions about the nature of the disease and its impact on the population, to expressing their thoughts in posters and written pieces.

Finally, on October 19th itself, the entire school mobilized to, in three shifts due to the number of students, create a large pink ribbon made by themselves.
Children She made her ribbon on the trails at the entrance to the stage. Also, together with the TSEI students, they created a mural with a pink ribbon using crafts.



Primary, Middle School y Undergraduate Degrees Before their morning breaks, they took the opportunity to go out to the school's sports fields and all line up sitting down and dressed in their pink clothes.

All of this was made possible by the invaluable work and coordination of LDV Solidarity Youth Club who had been working on the proposal for weeks.
