The centenary of Juan Fuster Zaragoza was the focus of the Founders' Day events

The 5th grade students reenacted the discovery of the Virgin of Suffrage before the representatives of the La Barqueta Association.

Lope de Vega International School celebrated its Founders' Day, as it does every March 8th. Celebrating a century of Juan Fuster Zaragoza

March 8th was a day full of activities and emotions for the Lope de Vega school community. The events began with a Mass in the school's pavilion, followed by a floral tribute to the founders, Juan Fuster Zaragoza and Carmen Pérez González.

After a short break for the students to enjoy the traditional hot chocolate, prizes were awarded to the winners of the competitions organized for the occasion. The “Juan Fuster Zaragoza” Short Story Contest, which celebrated its 25th edition this year, was among the prizes awarded. Prizes were also given to the winners of the 6th “Carmen Pérez González” Mathematical Photography Contest, as well as the sports awards for table tennis, touch tennis, and padel. The morning concluded with various performances.

Later in the afternoon, the students of 5th grade performed the reenactment of the Discovery of the Virgin of Suffrage, in an adaptation of the original play by La Barqueta, whose representatives did not want to miss this event.

Later, Valentina Almodóbar, Queen of the Benidorm Patron Saint Festivities, and her Court of Honor, who chose to participate in the March 8th events this year, sang Les Copletes. The events concluded with the Ball del Peuet.
