“St. Peter’s Cricket Club – Vatican” is composed mainly of priests and
seminarians from Ireland, India, and Pakistan who study and work at the University
Pontifical. The team was founded in 2014 and is affiliated with the Pontifical Council of
Culture and Sport. On January 26, the team became part of “Athletica Vaticana”. This association travel the world Every year they come together to play cricket, promote intercultural dialogue, and raise funds for social causes. The cricket matches serve as a unifying force for diverse religious, social, and cultural communities, fostering what the Pope calls "The Culture of Dialogue."
