A group of students celebrates having passed one of the tests
As in previous years, first and second-year ESO students have already begun the "12 Tests" game, which is part of their Spanish Language curriculum. In order to advance, they must solve a series of riddles of all kinds. Topics such as literature, history, film, art, music, and mathematics are featured in the various tests they must complete.
To do this, the students have organized themselves into groups of up to three people, regardless of their class or grade level. They have until February 16th to complete the first 11 challenges. Once this deadline has passed, a date will be set for the 12th challenge, which consists of a scavenger hunt throughout the school with a series of hidden clues. Discovering these clues leads to the next point. All students who have solved the previous challenges can participate in this challenge. Individually, the student who solves all the puzzles first will be the champion of the fifth edition.
The 12 challenges began in 2010 with the same spirit as today: to be an entertaining game where children could have fun while learning through critical thinking. The basis of its success is likely the high level of difficulty of each puzzle. This presents a great challenge for the students, who can freely use any tool at their disposal to solve them, knowing that the task will not be easy… but it will be a lot of fun.
