The Lope de Vega Theatre celebrates a new edition of “LDV Live Experience” with workshops on health and the environment

Once again, in the days leading up to Holy Week, the Lope de Vega International School celebrated the “LDV Live Experience” event, three days in which various workshops and activities were organized to promote health, nutrition, science and environmental awareness.

Since Monday, the different stages of the school have hosted exhibitions and workshops of great interest to the students, such as the production of hand sanitizer, the chemistry that surrounds us, DNA in criminal investigations, what a brain helmet is, and sustainable practices. The workshops have been led by external organizations such as the Miguel Hernández University of Elche and the National Police, as well as by the high school students themselves and school staff, such as the psychologist and the school nurse.

One of the objectives of this edition has been promote healthy eating From childhood. Therefore, there was a talk for families about healthy breakfasts and lunches, and the 3, 4, and 5-year-old students made simple recipes with fruit, such as fruit skewers. They also participated in various activities related to the food pyramid and food classification.

On the last day before the holidays, the school was filled with outdoor sports activities, such as zip-lining, climbing, go-karting, touch tennis, and games on the football field. All of these activities were carried out by students in the TSEAS and TGMNTL sports programs.
