The Lope de Vega school has been a finalist in the second edition of the Debate Tournament of the Illustrious College of Economists of Alicante.
In the current context, can the economy be inclusive?
On November 20th and 21st, the headquarters of the Alicante Association of Economists hosted the second edition of the Economics and Finance Debate Tournament. This year's debate topic was: "In the current context, can the economy be inclusive?" A complex and highly topical issue that the students of the Association prepared with great interest and enthusiasm.
The Lope de Vega team
The team made up of Nahir Baides, Alesia Filip, Víctor Marinero, and Jimena Soria, along with their coach and Economics teacher, Ana Todolí, represented Lope de Vega. They did so with great elegance, poise, and performances worthy of such high-caliber finalists.
Public speaking and debate
The extracurricular activity "Public Speaking and Debate" offered at the school is one of its flagship programs. Through it, students acquire advanced skills in oral expression, public speaking, persuasion, and content structuring, among other abilities.
LDV Debate Tournament
In addition to participating in numerous national debate tournaments, Lope de Vega International School organizes its own tournament. Last year's third edition focused on price regulation in the face of inflation.
In the latest edition of the LDV Debate Tournament, the students from the Arenas Atlántico School in the Canary Islands were the winners after facing the San Agustín School in Alicante, which ultimately came in second place.
