The Lope de Vega International School participates in the National Debate League in Malaga

Lope de Vega International School is participating in the National Debate League in Malaga. XI Cánovas National School Debate Tournament which took place on the weekend of February 17 and 18 at the Euro-Latin American Youth Center (CEULAJ) in Mollina, in the province of Málaga. The question posed was: “Should mobile phones be banned for children under 16?”

More than one hundred participants

The event, in which a team from the Lope de Vega school made up of 5 students from the 1st year of Baccalaureate participated, brought together more than one hundred participants from 3rd year of ESO to 2nd year of Baccalaureate, from centers throughout Spain; promoting educational aspects, coexistence and personal improvement.

Participation in tournaments

This participation of Lope de Vega in the National Debate League marks the school's third participation in debate tournaments this year, following their participation in the [unclear - possibly "December" or "[unclear - possibly "...]"]. Montpellier Debate Tournament and in January in one of the tournaments of the Debate League the largest in Europe, organized by CICAE and the Camilo José Cela University, qualifying for its final phase.

Public Speaking and Debate

This activity, encompassed within the extracurricular activity of “Public Speaking and Debate” Through the programs offered by the school, students improve the way they express themselves and communicate, as well as their critical thinking.

4th LDV Debate Tournament

In April, specifically on April 19th and 20th, the fourth edition of the LDV Debate Tournament will take place. This competition is organized and held at the Lope de Vega International School itself. Last year's edition It dealt with the regulation of prices of goods and basic necessities in the face of rampant inflation. The winner was Colegio Arenas Atlántico. of the Canary Islands.
