They will meet in the city of Benidorm from August 7th to 15th
The ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors is the International Tennis Federation's (ITF) world junior circuit for players under 18. The Lope de Vega International School and Costa Tennis Academy are organizing this event, which takes place from August 7th to 15th.
A total of 128 players will travel to Benidorm to participate in this prestigious world circuit, which will be held at the Lope de Vega International School Sports Complex. Tournament Director Alfonso Bacaicoa explained that “the ITF Junior Tour will feature the best players on the International Junior Circuit and even players who participate in Junior Grand Slams, such as the US Open, the French Open, Wimbledon, and the Australian Open.” He also noted that the tournament “will begin on Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th with the qualifying rounds, and the main draw will start on August 9th.” It is worth highlighting that the tournament will be played in men's and women's singles and doubles.
For his part, the President of the Sports Club and head of the Lope de Vega International School, Vicente Fuster, emphasized “our firm commitment to sports. At the school, we are passionate about sports, and thanks to this enthusiasm, we want to promote sporting activity at all levels.” Fuster explained that “all the players will be staying at our Sports Complex and will be able to enjoy all the sports facilities offered by the Lope de Vega International School, which is becoming a benchmark for all kinds of international competitions.”
Finally, Bacaicoa extended an invitation to all tennis enthusiasts "to come and watch the matches taking place at the Lope de Vega International School Sports Complex, as it is rare to see this high level of tennis in Benidorm.
