At Lope de Vega International School we have Ana Hoyo, full-time school nurse.
Ana prevents, assists and treats accidents, illnesses or allergiesIt also safeguards, stores, and supplies the medication necessary

Today Ana It deals with everything related to health. of our educational community in the Lope de Vega International SchoolThis includes different areas:
• Attend to the accidents that may occur, managing the entire process.
• Monitor special diets of the students who so choose require.
• Administer medication In the case of a medical prescription, whether acute or chronic, and without a medical prescription, always with the consent of parents or legal guardians in the case of pain.
• It prevents, detects, and monitors the different health problems that may occur during the day school, advising parents, the school, and others healthcare professionals when necessary more specialized healthcare.
• We work with the SNapp school nursing platformThe platform allows for greater data security and confidentiality, portability of student medical records and reports, recording of medical conditions, and medication dispensing. It also enables secure communication with families.
• Provides health training.
We have an AED at our school: Defibrillator External S mia
We have pediatric and adult electrodes, in case of a cardiac or respiratory emergency at the school. In other words, we are a cardioprotected center.

Our school nurse, Ana Hoyo, She holds a Diploma in Nursing from the UPV-EHU of Donostia – San Sebastián.
Her working life began in 2006. Since then she has worked as a hospital nurse in several hospitals in the Osakidetza network, mainly dedicated to Urgent and Emergency care, and privately as an operating room nurse.
Throughout all these years she has been continuously training in various areas such as pediatric emergencies, gynecological emergencies, International Trauma Life Support and traumatology, among others.
She has also been listed as a collaborating researcher in a study entitled “Assessment of Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) infection in patients born between 1945 and 1965 (Baby Boomers). OSIBB17/007” presented at the XLI Basque-Navarre Meeting on Digestive Pathology, which won the first prize for best oral communication.
