Success of the Lope de Vega Swimming Club in the 43 Jocs Esportius Alevín

Outstanding Participation of Our Swimmers in the Provincial Phase

Success of the Swimming Club Lope de Vega who shone brightly in the Provincial Phase of the 43 Jocs Esportius Alevínheld at the Elda Excursionist Center swimming pool in Elda. Seven of our talented swimmers represented the club in this important competition.

Featured Performances

Among the most outstanding results, Andrea Cervera Cantó won two gold medals, taking first place in the 100 butterfly (1:12.25) and 200 butterfly (2:42.65), in addition to obtaining a bronze in the 50 butterfly and a commendable fifth place in the 100 freestyle.

Marga Dosuna Sánchez also had an exceptional performance, winning a silver medal in the 100 freestyle (1:05.36), a bronze in the 50 backstroke and a fifth place in the 50 freestyle (29.30).

Excellent Teamwork

The women's relay team, made up of Andrea Cervera, Marga Dosuna, Alejandra Van Breda and Syra Blanco, demonstrated great team spirit, achieving outstanding positions:

5th place in 4x100 medley relay (5:22.77)
6th place in 4x100 freestyle (4:45.83)
8th place in 4x200 freestyle (10:35.25)

Individual Participation

The rest of our swimmers also showed their progress and dedication:

Gleb Maikin and Aarón Arias competed with determination in the breaststroke and freestyle events
Alejandra Van Breda excelled in the 200 individual medley and 50 butterfly
Syra Blanco Climent achieved good results in the 200 and 100 individual medley events.
Hugo Imber Coll showed his versatility in the freestyle and style events.

Representation in the XI Spanish Swimming Championship

Swimmer Andrea Cervera Cantó from CNLope de Vega was selected to represent the Valencian Community in the XI Spanish Swimming Championship by Autonomous Federations from February 21st to 23rd, 2025 at the Parque Sol municipal swimming pool "Laura Lope Valle in Valladolid in the 200 butterfly and in the 100 butterfly."
