Last weekend, the 23rd edition of the International Franchise Show (SIF) was held at the Valencia fairgrounds, closing on Saturday, October 20, 2012.
The event attracted a large number of franchises focused on self-employment due to the prolonged economic crisis. The typical attendee is someone who has been laid off with severance pay and has professional qualifications, is looking for self-employment, and finds many franchise options with investments of less than €100.000.
The Lope de Vega International School did not want to miss this event with its students from the first graduating class of the Intermediate Cycle of Administrative Management, a cycle that has begun to be taught this 2012/13 academic year with a great reception from the students.
The visit took place on Friday, October 19, 2012, and the students had the opportunity to enjoy a predominantly business environment. They exchanged opinions and interesting facts with the salespeople at the various stands they visited, and it was a very enriching experience for them, as it allowed them to learn firsthand and for the first time what a business fair was like.
