This year, Lope de Vega International School organized a major Halloween celebration. For the first time, the holiday wasn't just celebrated in the Early Years stage; the entire Primary stage joined in.

Just like UNESCO SchoolThe school strives to keep alive cultural traditions considered part of intangible heritage. Therefore, and given Lope de Vega's strong international character, this year it was decided to incorporate Halloween into the school's bilingual program as a fun and engaging activity.
In addition, the festival features a historical character It's worth noting that the origin of Halloween dates back to the 9th century when Pope Gregory IV established the holiday on November 1st. Over time, the celebration extended to the night before, known as "All Hallows' Eve" (the eve of All Saints' Day), and that name evolved into Halloween.
Alice in Halloweenland
Thanks to the very positive collaboration that the Early Childhood Stage does with students in the cycle of TSEIThe little ones enjoyed the most magical Halloween set in Alice in WonderlandAs you can see in the following video, “The fantastic world of Alice in Halloweenland"The Halloween theme" was the star of the activities that the TSEI students developed over more than a month to ensure the preschool children had a "frighteningly good time." Furthermore, the entire circuit was designed in English. Throughout the week, the preschool students also participated in various Halloween-related activities, such as cooking workshops, sensory activities, and storytelling.
Activities in Primary and Early Childhood
This year, in addition to the incredible work done by Infantil and TSEI, there is also the work of PrimaryClassroom and hallway decorations, themed lunch, group activities, outing for a traditional English breakfast, costume making, songs, dances… all always using English as the language of instruction.
The celebration had its finale with a paradeA red carpet was rolled out for the preschool and primary school students to share their Halloween costumes.
