The school's Literary Week, held this year from April 4th to 8th, focused on comics, which students said allowed them to "read, learn, and have fun." This reading format resonates strongly with the students, which is why the Language Department chose it.
Workshops have been held on comic book creation and literary character development, and older students have performed stories for younger ones. There have been storytelling sessions in both Spanish and Valencian, story reenactments, and even an online talk with a renowned comic book author.
The art department has created the "Free Library House," a comic book exchange program for students, which has facilitated an introduction to comics and their different genres. Furthermore, a competition was held to this end, in which the history of comics was explained using informational displays placed throughout the school, followed by a questionnaire.
Also noteworthy is the participation of the students from the Early Childhood Education cycle, who have performed silent stories for the students of Early Childhood and the first years of primary school.
All these activities were complemented by the traditional book sale run by the students. In addition, handmade bookmarks were sold, with the proceeds going to charity.
