Lope de Vega and his chess club won the final of the chess tournament held in Benidorm. The Plaza de SS. MM. los Reyes de España hosted the final phase of the tournament this morning, which was contested throughout the school year among secondary schools in Benidorm and the surrounding area.
A total of 6 educational centers have participated in this tournament, which held its final in the iconic Benidorm square where dozens of games are being held simultaneously.

Ou Yang, a graduate of Lope de Vega International School, has won the tournament. Furthermore, Lope de Vega secured first place with a total of 111 points, making it the overall tournament winner.
Lope de Vega offers a Chess Club where students participate in playing, analyzing moves, and debating strategies in their free time. This is further proof of our school's commitment to fostering critical thinking skills among our students.
