NEXT OPEN DAY MARCH 25TH, OPEN ENROLLMENT

The Italian students return home “delighted”

During the last week of October, a group of 77 students from the Anne Frank School in Meda (northern Italy) shared their experiences with us at the Lope de Vega International School. The students, accompanied by eight teachers, lived in the residence, participated in various cultural activities, and took Spanish classes.

On Friday afternoon, a farewell party was held for the students, where their teachers, Arlene Cobo and Óscar Cortina, presented diplomas to the winners of several contests held throughout the week. These contests included guessing a challenge, winning a photography contest, and creating a portfolio on poster board that reflected all their experiences. The party, which lasted until ten o'clock at night, also included the screening of a video with images of all their experiences from the past few days (see below), and ended with a dance in which both the students and their teachers participated.

The director of the Italian institution, Rosanna Sebastiani, expressed her gratitude for the hospitality shown by everyone at Lope de Vega and presented two representatives of the Benidorm Rotary Club with typical gifts from her region. The Rotary Club helped initiate the educational exchanges between the two cities. The director herself promised to "return very soon," as she was "delighted by what the children had learned and how much fun they had."
