Manuela Magán, one of the Best Short Stories for Young People in Alicante

The story by Manuela Magán, a student at Lope de Vega International School, has been selected as a finalist in the 2023 Alicante Best Short Story Competition for Young People. The Provincial Association of Booksellers and Stationers of Alicante is in charge of organizing this competition, whose awards ceremony was held on May 13th at the Alicante Provincial Council Auditorium (ADDA).

In addition to the diploma and the mention, Manuela's story will be included in a book. The publication, which is produced annually by Editorial ECUIt will be a miscellany with the selection of the 101 best stories of 2023.

Clara Campoamor

Manuela, a 3rd-year ESO student, focused her story on the figure of Clara Campoamor. As her text states, Campoamor was a writer, lawyer, and politician; a key figure in Spanish feminism.

Juan Fuster Literary Competition Zaragoza

The Lope de Vega school sent eight of the best short stories submitted to its own literary competition, the Juan Fuster Zaragoza Contest. This contest was held on March 8th to mark the occasion of Founders' Day of the School.
