Marina Díaz, a teacher at Lope de Vega, at the Elche International Fantastic Film Festival

Marina Díaz, teacher de Arts At the Lope de Vega International School, he gave a presentation at the Elche International Fantastic Film Festival in November.

The presentation took place within the International Congress on Fantasy Genre, Audiovisuals and New Technologies, a scientific and academic outreach activity that is part of the Elche International Fantastic Film Festival – FANTAELX. The mission of this congress is to disseminate research studies within the different thematic lines and discourses of the fantasy genre, encompassing all its possible variants and platforms: film, television, theater, literature, comics, video games, virtual reality, visual arts, etc. 

Marina Díaz, a doctoral candidate and teacher at Lope de Vega, gave a lecture on The magical power of mirrors in high fantasy cinema. During the presentation, Marina explained the function of the magic mirror of Blancanieves y los siete enanitos, the Mirror of Erised in Harry PotterGaladriel's mirror in The Lord of the Rings and Alice's looking glass Through the looking glass.
