- In their program “Free Time”, students produce reports, interviews, surveys and debates on current affairs.
- A dozen high school students have enthusiastically started this project that brings them closer to the audiovisual world.
The Lope de Vega International School has launched its new school channel, “Emotion TV.” Created by the students themselves, who have become reporters, presenters, editors, graphic designers, and camera operators, the channel aims to bring young people closer to the world around them, highlighting their experiences and perspectives.
The focus of the news coverage will be on all those topics that are of social interest.
Emotion TV isn't just a channel for young people; it's designed for all ages. Therefore, the programs, which will air monthly, are uploaded to their YouTube channel , as well as to Facebook and the Lope de Vega website. The students participating in this innovative project have decided that social media will play a key role in launching and promoting their television channel.
The first episode of “Free Time” is now available and its contents include a report on the Escape Room boom and its application for educational purposes, another on dog care, and a survey on what we do in our leisure time.
The participating students are in their third and fourth years of secondary school (ESO), and they are being trained by media professionals. Their aim is for this project to be sustainable over time, reaching as many people as possible.
