Just a few days ago, we received the results of the exams our international students took at the end of the last academic year to certify their Spanish level. Now that the data has been published, we can conclude that the results were excellent, both in terms of the high pass rate (approaching 100%) and the grades achieved.
The DELE exams are divided into several levels following the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which establishes different letters according to language proficiency, ranging from A1 to C2, the latter being the highest level. In the case of the school's students, 25 took the exams, with the vast majority obtaining diplomas certifying levels A2, B1, B2, and C1. It is also worth noting that many of them have been living in Spain for less than two years, which is a significant reward for their hard work and daily efforts in class.
These results correspond to the first DELE exams held at the school since Lope de Vega was recognized by the prestigious Instituto Cervantes, the world's leading institution for the promotion of Spanish, as an examination center for obtaining these qualifications. This distinction highlights the extensive work being done to promote Spanish at a school like ours, which values multiculturalism as an added benefit.
