
Students from 4th ESO (Secondary) A and B at Lope have started a national project, within the subject of Monographic Research Work, in coordination with five other schools Brains College, Virgin of Europe, Archangel Raphael y Mirabal from Madrid and the College Furrier From Santiago de Compostela. Representing thousands of their fellow secondary and high school students, they will analyze society, go to the Senate and put their conclusions into the 'Declaration of Principles of the Child'.
Concerned about the world our young people will inherit in a few years, they want to know why unjust situations are occurring in our society amidst corruption, a desperate search for employment both within and outside our country, cuts to the pillars of society, etc. According to these young people, all of this may be caused, primarily, by a “crisis of values”The lack of a solid foundation of values is one of Spain's main problems. They "don't want to repeat the same mistakes" that have led to the current situation and are aware that a "youth movement" is needed to build a better society through the "seed of change": education..

To obtain answers and try to find appropriate solutions, six Spanish schools in the network CICAE (Circle of Educational Quality) are already part of “Brains in Motion, Building a Society with Values”an initiative that aims to recover the “lost values” in today's society, as honesty, dialogue, effort, or commitmentas well as giving a voice to teenagers and helping them do their bit on the road to a better future.

After receiving those classes and completing their values education, the students will meet in a special working session in the SenateIn April, they will share their conclusions and draft the Declaration of Principles on the Rights of the ChildTitled “I Promise”, this declaration represents her commitment to leading real change in the way she acts and works that can have an impact on society.
The official presentation of the document will be in May. From then on, the members of “Brains in Motion, Building a Society with Values” They will send the declaration to different economic, social and institutional bodiesThey will ask them to sign it and join their cause.
