“Health for all” was the motto of the 20th edition of the LDV LIVE EXPERIENCE. At Lope de Vega International School, we ended the second term in style with this event, which included: sports activities, healthy leisure activities, nutrition, workshops Environment, healthcare professionals, science, charity raffle, musical performances…
World Health Day
Taking advantage of the proximity of World Health Day (April 7) The school celebrated this day dedicated to health on April 5, for the twentieth consecutive year. The theme chosen by the WHO for 2023, which we as a school endorsed, was “Health for All.” Therefore, the program included various activities and workshops related to healthy lifestyle habits, biodiversity, and climate change.
LDV LIVE EXPERIENCE Collaborators
To make this day possible, at Lope de Vega International School we were fortunate to have the collaboration of many local institutions and individuals, all of whom are listed in the program. From the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+I) of the University of Alicante al CDT of Benidorm, going through the Transplant Unit of Sant Joan Hospital, IMED Levante, the Ministry of Agriculture and Climate Emergency or the National Police, among others. We thank them all for their invaluable collaboration.
LDV LIVE EXPERIENCE Program
On April 4th, a preview of the LDV LIVE EXPERIENCE program was given with the presentation “Biodiversity and Climate Change in the Mediterranean”. Then, on April 5th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, a series of workshops, presentations, tastings, games, and other activities took place, aimed at different school levels, from preschool to secondary school.

Charity raffle Mª José Arco
In addition, this 20th edition included a very special activity: the celebration of the Charity Raffle. “A School for Life”The proceeds from the raffle were entirely dedicated to covering part of the rehabilitation costs for María José Arco, a former student of Lope de Vega International School, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2020. In addition to the charity raffle, she shared her story and experience with the students of the school in a talk given on April 5th. Many families and businesses donated prizes to make the raffle possible, and even more purchased tickets to contribute. We would like to thank them all for their generous participation.
