A collective graffiti workshop has been one of the proposals that the 4th and 6th grade students of the Lope de Vega International School have developed during the Arts subject in the month of February.
The nozzle corner
To participate in this urban art workshop, the students were joined by Vicent, a graffiti expert and creator of “El rincón de las bocas” (The Nozzle Corner) . Thanks to Vicent's expertise, the primary school students learned about urban art in general and, more specifically, about the different types of graffiti that exist.
Collective work through graffiti
This artistic activity encouraged students to work collaboratively. In this graffiti workshop, each grade created its own collective piece. They experimented with various graphic techniques (always avoiding the use of spray paint ). Furthermore, there were some truly heartwarming moments of teamwork as the first-year students helped the fourth-year students create their artwork.
