The Technician in Natural Environment and Leisure Guide (TGUMN).is a way to develop a highly demanded profession in our environment or to access the higher qualifications of Bachillerato or Higher Level Training Cycles

requirements

  • Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education
  • Passed 2nd year of BUP
  • Possession of a 1st degree vocational training qualification
  • Other equivalent qualifications

Access by means of an intermediate level examination

  • Be at least 17 years of age or be at least 17 years of age in the year of the test

– Be in good physical condition

– Have social skills, especially communication and teamwork skills

– Know how to ride a bicycle
– Be willing to ride and perform all tasks of horse care and stable maintenance
– Know how to swim

  • Guide in the natural aquatic environment
  • Rope manoeuvres
  • Training and career guidance
  • Workplace training (in the third quarter)
  • Access to the Baccalaureate in Science and Technology and Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Possibility of continuing the Higher Level Training Cycle in Physical Activities (TSEAS) by taking the Higher Level entrance exam once this Intermediate Level Cycle has been completed and being 18 years of age or older in the year of the exam
  • Completion of other intermediate vocational training studies.
  • Once you have completed a higher education cycle, you can access to the University without the completion of the Selectividad test.
  • As a monitor of leisure and adventure facilities, as well as a bicycle, equestrian and land guide designing itineraries up to mid-mountain in adventure activity companies
  • As a monitor of recreational physical-sports activities in the natural environment and as a monitor of children’s and young people’s free time in tourist companies: hotels, campsites, hostels, etc
  • In companies managing natural parks or protected areas
  • In Sports clubs
  • In ski resorts with off-season activity offers
  • To act as a Guide in the aquatic environment with recreational craft exempted from dispatch
  • To act as a guide for canyoning and low-difficulty caving
  • Acting as a lifeguard on beaches, lakes and reservoirs
  • Monitor of activities in the school framework
