“El Guaje” with the children, at the start of theCampus CF Benidorm, of the DV7Group.

This was the first camp organised by the team and took place between 31 July and 5 August at the Campos Antonio López and Lope de Vega International School sports facilities.

Nearly a hundred little football players participated in this Campus that was attended by David Villa with whom they were able to enjoy a very special day.

The player stressed that “we have had to change our plans because of my collarbone injury, but I am very happy with how the camp is developing”. Villa pointed out that “there are more than 90 participants between boys and girls and for the first year we are very satisfied. I have enjoyed a lot with the boys and girls and I have also seen them enjoy themselves and I hope they continue to do so throughout the week.

The President of DV7Group wanted to point out that “… the DV7Group has a lot to offer.the Lope has fantastic facilities. We are very grateful to the College for the collaboration we are doing. Also for being able to use the Antonio López fields that are next door”. Finally, El Guaje pointed out that “this campus is a start. The idea is to run it for many years and for the first one to have this acceptance  and so many children have signed up is really very positive. It has been fantastic to have been here with all of them,” he concluded.

 

The Lope hosts the Summer Campus

For his part, the head of the Lope de Vega, Vicente Fuster, pointed that “the school has become a benchmark for the Summer Campuses of the different Sports Clubs, as well as for the organisation of high-level events”.

Thus, during this summer, both the CF Benidorm Campus and the II Campus Costa Blanca Benidorm of Balonmano Benidorm. In addition, during these days the players and coaches have been able to carry out various training sessions and tests in the Biomechanics Laboratory installed in the Educational Centre.  Fuster wanted to remember that “in addition to these Campuses and the Lope de Vega Campus itself, in which this summer we have more than 500 children registered, there are still various sporting competitions to be held, such as the ITF Junior which will take place this coming weekend or the Tennis Europe Under 14, Juan Fuster Zaragoza which will take place at the end of August”.
