Today, November 24th, the Councillor for Education of Benidorm, Maite Moreno, presented the “Europass Mobility"to six students from Lope de Vega International School. This official document records the work experiences of those students who complete their training internships abroad."
European Work Experience
It was at an event held today, November 24th, at 12:00 PM, in the presence of all the students from the sports training programs at Lope de Vega High School. The six students completed their end-of-cycle internships. TGUMN (Technician in guiding in the natural environment and leisure time) After spending three months in Ireland, they shared their experiences and recommended the program to all their classmates. Among the skills they acquired during that time, they highlighted their English language skills, personal autonomy, and ability to adapt to a new country and its customs. Overall, the experience was very positive and enriching. Following the presentations, the students received their Europass certificates from the Councilor for Education of the Benidorm City Council and Víctor Canelada, coordinator of the sports programs at the school. The students who received these awards for participating in the "European Work Experience" student mobility project are: Carmen Azqueta, Maribel Ortega, Ainhoa Romero, Izaskun de Zulueta, Carlos Expósito, and Pau Iranzo. All of them had previously passed a selection process to be able to work in companies related to multi-adventure sports and the natural environment.
European Working Experience
This experience is possible because Lope de Vega International School is part of a consortium of schools in the Valencian Community grouped under the acronym EWE (European Working Experience). This initiative offers students the opportunity to complete their internships abroad, improving their English and gaining international experience that will enhance their professional resumes. As part of this program, six students completing their intermediate-level sports program this year are scheduled to travel to Ireland next March for their final internships.
Europass Mobility Document
The Europass Mobility Document is an official, personalized document issued free of charge and recognized throughout Europe. It allows users to document learning experiences undertaken in other European countries, such as work placements. The learning experience is monitored by two partner organizations, one in the home country and the other in the host country.
