Lope de Vega International School it has been proclaimed champion by centers of the 2nd Benidorm School Chess Tournament, whose grand final was held in the Benidorm City HallWith this result, the center retains the title won last year and becomes champion of the competition. second consecutive year, coinciding also with the two editions that the tournament has had so far.
The ranking by centers is obtained from the score of the five best players from each schoolThis makes this recognition a collective success. In the final ranking, the Lope de Vega International School achieved first place with 178 points, ahead of IES L'Arabísecond with 153 points, and from IES La Malladeta, third with 136 points.
Individual Recognitions
On an individual level, the tournament also yielded great results for our students. Maksim, a student at the Lope de Vega International School, achieved a brilliant third individual position with 5 points. In addition, the center placed several players among the top positions in the standings: Ni Jiale He was fourth, also with 5 points; Cristian He finished fifth with 4,5 points; Hugo he was seventh and Diego eighth, both with 4 points.
