Lope de Vega International School It is committed to sustainable mobility with the installation of charging points for electric vehicles.
At Lope de Vega Educational Center, we are reinforcing our commitment to respecting the environment and promoting responsible habits by implementing innovative sustainability solutions. In this context, we have installed electric vehicle charging points in our private parking lot, thus facilitating access to infrastructure that promotes cleaner mobility for the entire school community.
These new charging points have been designed to offer an efficient, safe, and accessible service for both center staff and authorized visitors. Their implementation not only responds to a growing need to adapt to new forms of transportation but also aims to encourage the use of electric vehicles, directly reducing emissions of polluting gases and contributing to improved air quality.
This initiative is part of the school's overall sustainability strategy, aligned with current trends in energy transition and its educational commitment to raising student awareness about the importance of environmental stewardship. Through actions like this, the school not only improves its infrastructure but also acts as an active agent in promoting environmental awareness.
The installation of these charging points has been made possible thanks to the support of the MOVES III Program, funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU funds, and managed in the Valencian Community by IVACE. This institutional support has been key to promoting projects that foster the transition to a more sustainable energy model.
With this action, the Lope de Vega Educational Center reaffirms its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and to fulfilling the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially those related to climate action and sustainable cities.
