Lope de Vega International School with the Family Business Association

Educational innovation adapted to the business reality

If there is one thing that characterizes the educational philosophy of Lope de Vega International School It is our commitment to offering personalized solutions to our students. Focusing the curriculum and areas of interest on our students' concerns allows us to create a comprehensive and meaningful educational experience. This personalized approach is one of the distinguishing principles of our education at Vocational Training Cycles, And for this reason, every year we implement numerous innovative initiatives that reinforce this commitment. Lope de Vega International School and the Association of the Family Business of Alicante (AEFA) are working together on a syllabus specifically designed for students in vocational training programs Administrative Management Technician (TGA) y Higher Technician in Administration and Finance (TSAF).

Objectives of the module on the Family Business

Among the objectives of this program are: to provide a deep understanding of the structure and functioning of family businesses, to develop specific skills for the management of family businesses, to facilitate direct contact with entrepreneurs and managers of local family businesses, and to prepare students for the specific challenges of succession and business continuity.

Aware that a significant number of our students come from family business environments, Lope de Vega International School has developed a specific training program that addresses the unique challenges and opportunities presented by family businesses, becoming the only center in the area that offers this curriculum in two of its cycles in collaboration with AEFA.

These contents, which are taught in the second term of the Vocational Training Cycle of TGA y TSAFThey offer knowledge about the sector, as well as the basic tools and strategies within this business landscape to which many of our students will focus their future careers.

The program combines different learning methods, including: theoretical sessions with industry experts, practical workshops, visits to local family businesses, and applied research projects, among others.

This training program represents a step forward in our mission to provide a quality education that combines academic theory with real business practice, preparing our students for the specific challenges they will encounter in the world of family business.

Practical Experiences: The FRIMAR Case

Recently, as part of this agreement and academic program, we have had the privilege of the participation of FRIMAR, a prominent family business in the professional food sector, which has shared its experience and knowledge with our students.

Our students had the opportunity to meet its founder and his son, who offered an enriching perspective on the evolution of the company, the importance of entrepreneurship, and the ability to reinvent oneself in times of crisis.

These conferences are complemented by in-person visits to companies, allowing our students to gain direct knowledge of the daily workings of the organization, observing firsthand the management and operation of a successful family business.

Career path in Vocational Training

Lope de Vega International School began its education in Training cycles In 2003, anticipating the demands of the labor market and the need for specialized training, this strategic commitment to vocational training reflects our ability to anticipate the demands of today's labor market, where specialized technical profiles are increasingly in demand by companies.
